I'm sorry that I won't be able to get close enough to your route to buy you a cup 'o joe. Normally I would have made a speed run to my sister's house for a few days but I am going down there later this month to bring here up here for a week or so and take her back. I doubt I can survive three road trips in a month. Come to think of it, I considered marriage 30 years ago for that very reason ...

I appreciate that, wish I could have made that happen with several here. I'm spending the night in Huntsville tonight. Drive the rest of the way tomorrow.

I've been there once and see the appeal. I had their brisket sandwich but I'm not a fair judge of brisket, or any BBQ beef. Buc ee's wasn't bad and actually tasted fine, but BBQ beef just doesn't appeal to me.
 
If anyone is curious i just got home. So basically 11 hours with stops for gas and the restroom from Leeds Alabama to my house. (Thats where I actually spent the night, I didn't realize till the morning that it wasn't actually Huntsville. I just saw a sign and didn't pay to close of attention.) I drove a total of 1251 miles from Florida to home. Y'all got some nice cattle country in places there in Bama. Looked like some good sized outfits.
