Thanks. It is a lot different than what I thought it would be. It is very relaxing and really reminds me of a stress control technique we were taught in nuke power school back in the 80s (eyes closed, focus on a voice that directs you to briefly tense and relax every muscle group starting with the head and working to your toes). It's kind of like meditation with suggestions mixed at the end. I might be clucking like a chicken every now and again, but that behavior predates my first hypnosis session by decades.

The suggestion placed yesterday was that before I light up, I will hear a voice in the back of my head asking if I really want that cigarette. Granted that voice will have to shout to be heard over the others, but my smoking is more boredom, muscle memory and reflex than anything. It's just one part of a puzzle along with things like not keeping my cigarettes at my desk and rationing them by the hour but so far so good.

I have a voice in my head when I see beautiful women. Its keeps saying "You are NOT making her a dungeon held sex slave."
