This is what natives have to deal with

I really know I need to try the Cajun andCreole food more. I was once telling someone from the bayou that the secret to my meatballs was the spices and of course, they asked what I used. I said I’m not really sure, Cajun, creole, either one works, same thing.

You don’t want to be the guy that says Cajun and Creole are the same thing. Anyhow, Zatarains is what I add to the meatballs.

Our running jokes with the cooks on the submarine was that if they opened one can of tomatoes it was creole, two meant Cajun and three was Italian.
 
I had a great phone conversation with a well-known poster today. It was nice except that I was blacked out. I think it was maybe Starsvream.

Oh yeah. They move down here and the first thing our of their clap trap mouths is this is how we used to do it back home. Well MFer if it is so great then the interstate has another side to it that will take you right back.

Had one transfer into the Lions. The first thing out of his mouth was the usual yada yada so we put him in "charge" of all the crap stuff nobody wanted to do anyway. He was happy as a pig in slop and so was everybody else cause it shut him up and nobody had to deal with the crap stuff.
