Lemon drop martinis with the missus. Yeah it has a reputation as a girly drink, but I beef em up to be manly. Recipe for two panty-dropping drinks:

8 oz of Chopin vodka … yes, potato vodka is key
4 oz. Triple Sec (or Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
1 tbsp fine sugar
Juice of 2 whole lemons

Shake the hell out of the above ingredients in an ice filled shaker. Strain into two good-sized sugar rimmed martini glasses.

Well now, this is a thread I can get into. I actually cracked the Eagle rare open to sip tonight. Usually leave it for special occasions but don't drink often during the season and wanted to enjoy a drink. ER is impossible to find unless I want to go secondary or ht the local museum and pay their secondary price.

In ow have three bottles of Rare. The State has an issue each month and Rare was one of the ones issued. You are limited to one bottle a day so I take my non drinking neighbor along. Got two and had one. Good stuff.
