What are we drinking tonight?

Can't get it where I live or anywhere close. Maybe one day. Tonight

It appears it was meant to be. Saw this post a couple of days ago. Just returned from grocery story picking up a few weekend items when what is at the end of the display aisle on sale for $23.99. Coincidence? Probably, but with this many signs I think it would be bad luck not to pick up a bottle. Looks like I am going to give it a try this weekend.

Gog damn Braves just went up 2-1 in the World Series only giving up one hit because the shortstop and left fielder nearly collided.

I was 8 and lived and breathed baseball at the time when they won their only Championship in '95.

Y'all forgive me if I am sloshed the next few nights. I get to hear the FSU Warchant too.

Whelp, I went to the ABC Store and found them out of my usual... 1792.. so I was looking around and found a bottle called Clyde May's "Alabama style Whiskey".. I bought it..
took a shot neat, then fixed a drink.. It is smooth and good,, not harsh at all..
I thought about this thread and wanted to post so I did a quick google search and found out that the only thing Alabama about Clyde Mays bourbon is the name,, its actually distilled in Kentucky and the author of one article surmises that it is rebranded Heaven Hill..
I love my Kentucky brothers and I love the whiskey that flows from those mountains,, not to mention that great blue grass they grow :).. but I thought that there might be a bourbon from Alabama that I could take some pride in,,
Turns out that Clyde May was a old time moonshiner that lasted a while and earned some measure of respect.. from Alabama,, but this bourbon that bears his name has nothing to do with him,, Ive been cheated.. Im gonna finish this damn bottle and go find me some heaven hill cause I do like it,, I just hate getting duped.

Dude, me and you might could have a damn good time with bluegrass.....and some good bourbon. I'm a fan of all music from Hank Williams to Slipknot, but my love of music came from my Pops and his bluegrass roots. He had 6 brothers and sisters and all of them played instruments. When I was a kid, Saturday nights were a family gathering of bluegrass music filled fun. Hell, I was singing bluegrass songs on the mike when I was 10.
