Maybe Les would like to come back south.
Not much grass but plenty of spanish moss to graze on.

USC fans are hoping you take Cristobal back to the state of Florida.I'd be surprised if FSU is looking very hard at Urban Meyer. He would just be a short term solution. I suspect they are looking for a long term solution
Hope in one hand and crap in the other. See which one fills up the fastestUSC fans are hoping you take Cristobal back to the state of Florida.
His brother Jay, at Nevada will get a look or two as well. So will their OC, Matt Mumme.I'd bet even money that Mike Norvell at Memphis gets a look, along with Sonny Dykes at SMU.
As funny as that would be, and it would be hilarious, unless he was the ONLY coach in the entire country that would take the job I don't see him going to FSU.
Maybe a package deal? His brother Jay, at Nevada will get a look or two as well. So will their OC, Matt Mumme.
Yes, hope is not a very good strategyHope in one hand and crap in the other. See which one fills up the fastest
OUTSTANDING LOL!!!Might it be said that they freed Willie?
Over on the Soundoff board those that were ridiculing WT and calling him a bad hire are now calling foul and racism. The mentality over there never ceases to amaze me.
Unfortunately there is a segment of our society that tries to make EVERYTHING about race, even when it's painfully obvious it is not.Over on the Soundoff board those that were ridiculing WT and calling him a bad hire are now calling foul and racism. The only reason I can think of for not waiting is they're trying to get a jump on their next hire before USC , (or someone else) goes after who they are interested in.
I'm not so sure. Taggart brought in some talent, but he didn't maintain control. Lack of discipline, etc led to his demise. With the right hire, and the right support staff in place you might be surprised. Look how quickly Saban turned Bama around. As fans, we also have no idea what the story is behind the closed doors of the administration and what led to the decision. I doubt it was just the win/loss record.I don’t like this. I can’t argue with the funds put up and if you think the guy isn’t getting it done. But I just can’t see how this program moving forward is gonna recover quickly enough for the next guy. FSU has just set a 1 and half season max. I also don’t necessarily trust the people in charge making the call.
Time will tell. But it’s gonna be a rough couple of seasons.

I can't disagree with you ODD. I'm not saying they can go from a laughing stock to champs in two years but they CAN make a dramatic improvement with the right hire. If you're showing improvement, eliminating the stupid shit, and just playing sound ball the wins will come. Taggart didn't do any of those things. It's unfair for that to be the standard, though. Saban is arguably the greatest in CFB history. I'd say the standard should be on the level of Dabo's progressive success at Clemson.
