Good morning everyone. Stay safe today.
Me too!Good morning, gonna work today then go to the beach tomorrow for the rest of the week, I gotta get some rest after reading what all @RTR...USN (ret) has done!
Cloudy and rain/sprinkling on and off, so no. Dammit!!!!!Did anyone else see the eclipse last night
Turned over in your sleep and dislocated? Damn!! Even I'm not that fragile. Good luck with tho.Good morning everyone. Gonna be a long day. Last night around 11:30 I guess I turned over in my sleep and my left knee dislocated. Holy shit… sleep was not my friend after that. I couldn’t get it back in and had to wake the wife up to help me put it back in place. Guess I’ll be going to see an orthopedic doc in the near future. With all the work I have going on I can’t take out for knee surgery right now though. Getting old sucks… just sayin’…
Good morning everyone. Damn I am sorry to hear about your knee. Please be careful with that knee, especially on ladders. Do you have a good brace? That is one thing about the VA, you can get a DonJoy sports brace same day there.Good morning everyone. Gonna be a long day. No, I don’t have a brace. My knee is stable unless the knee is bent and there is lateral pressure or strain on the lower leg, so going up or down on ladders is generally not an issue.Good morning everyone. Sounds like somebody is trying to tell you to slow it down a little bit, you should listen brother,Good morning everyone. Gonna be a long day. Yeah… probably not going to happen unless I’m forced to. I’m just not wired for taking it easy. My primary care doc called it fibial subluxation, with possible ligament damage or strain. The fibia literally slides out of its socket to the outside of the knee. He submitted a consult to orthopedics, I’m just waiting on an appointment. We’ll see what he says. I’m guessing there will be an mri scheduled soon and that should tell me exactly what’s wrong.Sounds like somebody is trying to tell you to slow it down a little bit, you should listen brother,
On the bright side, since you have generally good stability, a temporary brace and physical therapy is probably going to be the starting treatment. Even if you need surgery after having a MRI, you should be able to put it off until your schedule allows for it. Best of luck!Yeah… probably not going to happen unless I’m forced to. Morning all. Rtr, I've got a neighbor who's knee has the same problem, except he refuses to go to the doctor for it. I've been around numerous times when he's dislocated it and he's always in quite a bit of pain. Hope the doctors have good news for you.Yeah… probably not going to happen unless I’m forced to. Trust me… he IS in a lot of pain. It hurts like a bitch. At least this time there’s minimal swelling and the discomfort is manageable.Morning all.
