You are free to make your own assessment. I never tried to paint Brigham Young as anything beyond simply adequate. I haven't ventured as of late to quantify where precisely they land but it seems they were somewhere at or very near top-60. Which is a barrier of a sort. Top-60 says competitive. It's weird to me how people continually question my good judgement only to be proven wrong. Then deny ever having done it. I'm putting my foot down once and for all. What we know about 1984 particular to the national championship is that many people thought Brigham Young an adequate substitute for Florida who were on probation. What I've since learned is that by many measures perhaps not all, Brigham Young might have been the superior. Evidence would seem to indicate it as such. In fact BYU was at least capable of of claiming a national championship. Not because of me!COMPLETELY WRONG. you keep saying "I think" because you are making shit up AGAIN. YOU ARE WRONG.
The video evidence proves you are not only wrong but lying your ass off. Sad to see you reduced to lying about a play because of jealousy. Bama won fair and square. You have no idea how he was lined up because you have no proof so you lie and say "I think". That shit is sad even for a crazy person.
It was a classic example of a fumble. I've made it easy for you to see yet you wont admit how wrong you are. This makes me feel like you are completely lying about your system and BYU is actually a shit team.
smh .... damn, obviously lying to try and cover up a perfect tackle, and fumble.
It has nothing to do with me. I admitted they require assistance. Which they do. But the irony of ironies is so would have Florida
Simply penciling Florida to in as a replacement or doesn't address the problem is any better than leaving well enough alone.
You want to know the REAL reason Brigham Young claimed a championship? Nobody else merited consideration is why. Florida was in probation but it's not necessarily a given they beat Nebraska. L.S.U. got beat.
L.S.U. actually tied Florida. Why should I assume Florida necessarily wins?
But that's not how I operate. The reality is neither team (Florida, Brigham Young) can uniquely catty the Championship on theyr shoulders. What's even MORE interesting is neither team WITH assistance completely carries sufficient leverage. The ONLY way either team can claim a championship is to SHARE it. How's that for a tough pill to swallow. Nit only THAT the same scenario repeated itself in 1996. Florida can't claim universal claim over 1996 any better than Brigham Young can solitarily claim 1984.
What CAN be done is ADMIT it.
The net result therefore is cooperation. Brigham Young doesn't claim 1996 even though they won s Belt and Florida doesn't claim 1984. FOR THE SAME REASON. That's called playing to fairly. I don't want to hear another word about BYu being undeserving. It's personal for me. And UNNECESSARY!
