anybody tried the absinthe?
tastes like black licorice -

Try it in a Sazerac cocktail.

Keep some absinthe in a perfume atomizer (buy one off Amazon).

Fill a small old fashioned glass with ice and set aside to chill.

Muddle a sugar cube, two dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters and a couple drops of water in a different glass. Add 2 oz of a good rye and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Dump ice from chilled glass. Spritz two or three pumps of absinthe into the empty glass, just enough to give it a very light film. Drop a Luxardo cherry in and pour in the stirred drink.

Enjoy.

terrific suggestion,
muddled some sugar cubes
on the spade that came with it -
but then into the shot glass -
cheers!
