Conference Realignment?

Second rate conference. Sorry but UW and Oregon are, at best, B- programs. In a conference without an A program, they’ll slide even further. No one gives a shit about Washington vs Kansas State or Oregon vs Texas Tech.

Some red, hurt butt in here. But- not butt- what I said is true. You second rates just hate accepting it. Love ya both though.

I'd love to come and see your beautiful stadium, but still not sure about the UO and UW rumors. I have always thought it was going to be B1G or PAC for those schools, but GK may have backed the whole conference into a corner with the delays. It is going to be impossible to get the numbers up to keep the conference if 1 more team leaves for 2024. The MWC schools cannot afford the buyouts now and the AAC buyout isn't much behind.

The PAC 12's last stand is going to be riding on what GK can present the presidents tomorrow. Nobody I talk to seems optimistic that he's going to be able to pull it off.

I will be really shocked if the PAC 12 can maintain anything resembling a P5 conference. Hell, I will be surprised if they can even become a powerful G6 conference without merging with the MWC. I am thinking they will be Ivy League-ish level before long without a merge.

It's going to be really tough for the PAC to remain a conference unless something changes for the better quickly. MWC buyouts have gone up to 30M so they won't even be able to add teams easily. If they lose 3-5 members (which I think is very likely), they could going the way of the Big East. As someone who's spent some time on the West Coast, it's a sad day!

I would have thought the PAC 12 was the safest conference of all due to geography. But they kept screwing up their TV deals and the schools started looking at options. I think the TV networks have a lot of influence in this too…they’d rather have an inventory that only includes the top half of the FCS, and are helping to kill off everybody else. What a mess.

UO/UW/Cal/Stanford ??
if thats the case,
Utah better get on the horn to the B12 -
Some guy from Barstool Sports made himself Twitter Famous by saying that his sources are saying UO/UW/Clemson/FSU. No one that I’ve read can figure out how the ACC teams are even in play. Probably just a guy making shit up to get some followers.

Word I'm hearing is that the B1G is not looking at markets, but at brands. Utah has been in discussions with them with some of the heavy hitters advocating for them. We'll see...
interesting -
so if indeed B10 is goin after 4 schools,
then who gets left out?
Cal or Stanford (assuming UO and UW are in)?

UW is headed to the B1G and afterwards they're going to claim Prima Nocta on all your skinny a$$ women. :p
